Locussolus ‘Tan Sedan (Remixes)’ (International Feel)
Maybe one of the best album of this year, the amazing “King” Harvey Locussolus LP, get treatment from the heavy weights of the leftfield Disco scene, from Mr Weatherall, to Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, and Emperor Machine as well. This extra limited edition Maxi, comes out with a couple of amazing remixes: the freaky disco groovy and sure killer for the floor re work by buddy Eric Duncan, and the balearic electro-boogie vision of “Throwdown” from Com Truise. Another great release from Uruguayan best leftfield label around.

Mustang “Shooting Love (Remixes)” (Different)
The belgian duo Mustang, after a great 12” on Gomma, released “Shooting Love” on Different Records at the beginning of summer,…this fat club track is going to be released as a remix package. It comes out with an uplifting techno style remix from Black strobe and another one from canadian singer and producer Jeremy Glenn. This remix is the best one for me, with that 80’s italo electro disco feel, completed with an instrumental version as well. Perfect music to bring the summer back!

Publicist “Hardwork” (Dither Down)
Great debut single on Brooklyn’s Dither Down records, from Trans Am and Weird War drummer Sebastian Thomson, with his project called Publicist. He creates a cosmic-vocoder voyage in the form of “Hardwork”, wich comes with some stunning rerubs from Walker & Royce, and with the dub edit by Nick Chacona. The other track in the single, “I Won’t”, mines a more synth-funk sound, satisfyingly fusing 80’s boogie, while the Galactic Classics dub version is a must have for fans of DFA
